Supporting northern ACA students

NCASS & ICAEW Quiz at Durham University’s Queen’s Campus 11 September 2013

NCASS was pleased to join forces with ICAEW at the NCASS/ICAEW Quiz that was held at Durham University’s Queen’s Campus in Stockton-on-Tees with students taking part from the KPMG School Leavers’ Programme.

KPMG, in partnership with Durham University and ICAEW have designed a unique programme incorporating work and study.  The innovative six year programme offers an alternative to the traditional university route. Students study part time for three years and then full time in year four, before graduating with a BSc in Accounting. Two further years will see students achieve full Chartered Accountant status through the ICAEW.

The ACA students from the KPMG School Leavers’ Programme at Durham University are members of NCASS for the period that they are training to be ICAEW Chartered Accountants.

Congratulations to the Heads Jamie’s Shoulders Knees and Toes team (pictured) who won the NCASS/ICAEW quiz. Thanks to each of the 15 teams who took part, and to Keith Proudfoot and Lorna Hansell from ICAEW for organising the evening.
