ICAEW announces cancellations and changes to summer exams 23 March 2020

ICAEW has announced cancellations and changes to its June and July examinations because of the global challenges posed by coronavirus.

While we appreciate this decision will disappoint a number of our students, their health and wellbeing is our main priority

The June ACA professional level exam has been cancelled, and ICAEW is exploring several options to accommodate students who have been affected, including larger exam sittings.

The advanced level ACA exams due to take place in July have been postponed until the end of August.

The decision reflects the guidance and restrictions implemented by the UK government and other affected countries in response to Covid-19. Students who are in a training agreement with employers or receiving support from a tuition provider may find it helpful to contact them for further guidance.

Mark Protherough, ICAEW Executive Director, Learning and Professional Development, said: “While we appreciate this decision will disappoint a number of our students, their health and wellbeing is our main priority.”
