NCASS presents fundraising cheque to Zoё’s Place baby hospice in Middlesbrough 10 January 2014

Following on from a fantastic year for NCASS with the previous Chair Ele Brown at the helm, the new NCASS Chair John Howarth recently presented the proceeds from the events organised by Ele and the NCASS committee in 2013 to Zoё’s Place baby hospice in Middlesbrough.

John handed over a cheque for £1,307.21 which was presented to the hospice to help them continue their good work caring for sick babies.

The NCASS committee has agreed that Zoe’s Place will be its chosen charity again in 2014 and attendees at the upcoming NCASS Annual Dinner at Newcastle Civic Centre on Friday 28 March 2014 will have an opportunity to hear more about this charity.

Zoё’s Place Trust is a registered charity providing palliative, respite and end of life care to babies and infants aged from birth to five years suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. This care is provided in a caring, safe, home from home environment known as Zoё’s Place Baby Hospices.  More information about the work of Zoё’s Place can be found on their website at http://www.zoes-place.org.uk/middlesbrough/
