Type: Audit Assurance and Financial Reporting, Course
Organiser: Tyne and Wear
It’s been a busy few years for LLPs, with three SORPS being published in quick succession (2014, 2017 and 2018). This course will give you all the relevant information to keep you up to date.
This seminar will navigate you through all the changes and highlight common problem areas faced by accountants and auditors acting for clients within this sector and how these are addressed.
After attending the seminar, you will:
• Understand the changing face of the LLP SORP and what this means in practice for the accounts of large, medium, small and micro-sized LLPs
• Be able to produce financial statements for LLPs which comply with the SORP
• Understand how to construct a members’ interests table and how to present and allocate both profits and losses therein
• Be able to apply recent changes resulting from the introduction of FRS 102 and further changes to FRS 102 and the SORP resulting from the FRC’s ‘triennial review’ and reflected in SORP 2018
Course is relevant to partners, managers and staff in accounting firms preparing and auditing accounts for limited liability partnerships
