TSCA Netwalking

Join TSCA for a 5 mile ‘walk whilst you talk’ in our first Netwalking event.

Netwalking - Northern

Join us for a 5 mile networking walk around the North York Moors. Please meet us at the North York Moors National Park Visitors Centre Car Park for 16:00 (a maximum charge of £4.50 applies for parking). Numbers are limited please book early!

After the walk we will be meeting in the Lion Inn, Blakey Ridge for a pint and a bar meal.

Walking boots and clothing for the weather conditions are essential!

Teesside Society of Chartered Accountants Joint Supper 2017

Cost: £25

A fantastic opportunity to network with professional service contacts throughout Teesside. Last year’s event attracted more than 100 attendees from the region.

Teesside Society of Chartered Accountants Joint Supper is one of Tees Valley’s most popular networking events for professionals.

The evening will include a 2 course meal followed by a quiz.

The evening will be a great opportunity to network as over 130 professionals representing more than 38 firms in accountancy, banking, law, IFA’s and IP’s across the Tees Valley attended last year’s event.

Look forward to a special evening this November – you don’t have to be a chartered accountant to enjoy the evening with us – our dinner is open to all. We would also love it if members bring their colleagues, clients and guests as well as their students and trainees to enjoy a memorable evening and a superb networking opportunity.

Our principal guest speaker this year will be John Parrott.

During the course of the evening we will hold a raffle to raise funds for our chosen charity.

Middlesbrough FC Riverside Stadium Tour

An exciting event is coming to Teesside this September for football fans.

TSCA and NCASS are hosting a tour of Middlesbrough Football Club’s Riverside Stadium on Wednesday 28 September 2016.

This is your chance to get a look behind the scenes of a local football club newly promoted to the Premier League.

You will enjoy a unique, behind-the-scenes look in the dressing-rooms, players’ tunnels, boardroom, hospitality suites and press room, with experienced guides on hand to illustrate the history and traditions of the club.

The tour will also include a special guest appearance from the CFO – Michael James.

Catering and refreshments will be provided at the event and tickets will be £10 +VAT per person.

All members and their guests are welcome, book early to reserve your ticket as places are limited.

The Teesside Society of Chartered Accountants Annual Dinner will be on Friday 13 November 2015.

Guest speaker Diane Youdale

We are delighted to announce that our guest speaker this year will be Diane Youdale.

Diane is perhaps best known for being ‘Jet’ in the successful 90’s television series Gladiators. Diane has remained in Television and Broadcast for over 25 years, she currently has a daily show (9am-12:30pm) on BBC Tees (North Yorkshire, County Durham, Tees Valley) with Neil Green. Diane also contributes to the BBC programmes – Inside Out and Look North.

During Diane’s TV presenting career she has worked for BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky, with shows ranging from You Bet, Out and About, Games World, Ouch, Finders Keepers, Children In Need, various award ceremonies and many, many more.

Immersed in and passionate about the world of fitness, health and exercise combined with an impressive media career, we look forward to an entertaining evening hearing about Diane’s life, experiences and career.

During the course of the evening we will hold a raffle to raise funds for Teesside Hospice

Teesside Hospice exists to enhance the quality of life for those suffering from advanced cancer and other life limiting illnesses. It offers specialist palliative care and support to patients and carers, in the belief that each person is entitled to dignity and choice through a range of services including, Inpatient Care, Day Care Service, Respite Care and Bereavement Co

The majority of the charities work focuses upon pain and symptom control, but they also provide respite care to allow relatives and carers a break whilst caring for their loved ones.

Donations on the evening will be kindly matched by Barclays Business.

65th Annual Teesside Dinner

Kevin is the chairman of locally headquartered Casper Shipping Ltd and Camair Freight Solutions Ltd and a former Worldwide Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers. He is also chairman and a founder member of the High Tide Foundation. The High Tide Foundation is a registered charity created by Teesside businesses to provide employment and other opportunities to the young people of Teesside.

Kevin will be talking about his experiences, disasters at sea, piracy and about the work of the High Tide Foundation.

The evening will be in support of the work of the High Tide Foundation.
