This course builds upon the Double-entry bookkeeping course by introducing further aspects that are applicable to UK businesses and companies and which are likely to be regular issues within sets of financial statements.

It is also useful for those new to accounting, but who already have basic double-entry bookkeeping skills.

Christopher Soan

Christopher Soan is currently a Lecturer in Accounting at the Newcastle University Business School. A Chartered Accountant, he has external audit experience from two of the ‘big four’ accountancy practices as well as financial reporting experience in both the private and public sectors.
