Back for 2023. Join the Cumberland Society of Chartered Accountants for their annual Christmas lunch and networking event.

Event Information

This year’s lunch is taking place at The Holston in Carlisle. Lunch is a three-course choice menu and must be pre-ordered at time of booking:

Menu

Starters

Split pea and ham hock soup

Watercress oil (gf)

or

Orange & Beetroot cured salmon

Red wine glaze, orange apricot gel, wasabi & radish salad

or

Mozzarella & tomato salad

Grilled asparagus, charred endive, shredded red cabbage & sherry garlic balsamic dressing

Mains

Traditional roast turkey

Pork & apricot stuffing, roast potatoes, honey roast carrots & parsnips, spouts, pigs in blankets & Halston gravy

or

Slow cooked Blade of beef

Bacon & leek creamed potatoes, seasoned roast roots, Yorkshire pudding & Halston gravy

Or

Baked Stone bass

Pomegranate, orange & herb couscous, roast beets, cauliflower & fine bean salad & lemon avraga cream

Vegetarian/vegan options are available on request

Dessert

Winter berry trifle

Vanilla mousseline & whipped mascarpone

Warm Chocolate fudge pudding

Salted almond & pistachio ice cream
