Getting your first financial statements under new UK GAAP – a practical case study based course

This course is for partners and staff in practice involved in the preparation and audit of financial statements of companies and others.
In this course we will review the transition process in detail and, using a typical small company case study, will demonstrate the tasks which need to be completed to produce the first accounts under new UK GAAP.
Content will include:

- Choosing the most appropriate GAAP

- The transitional exceptions and exemptions

Bill Telford – Telford Financial Training Ltd
Bill qualified as an accountant with an international big four firm in 1975 and has spent the last 30 years in education and training. In 2000, he joined Baker Tilly as National Training Director and he has served on both the ICAEW Council the Learning & Professional Development Board. He has recently retired as a partner with Baker Tilly and is now trading as a freelance lecturer and training consultant.
