Event Information

Harry Clasper, Joe Wilson and Glenn McCrory; three Tyneside heroes, each with a magnificent tale to tell.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to find out more about these beloved plays and hear about the importance of regional heritage to us.

Ed’s latest work, Wor Bella, tells the story of Blyth Spartan’s Ladies’ striker, Bella Reay. Bella was the Alan Shearer of her day!

Ed also has a successful writing partnership with Trevor Wood, and their plays include Dirty Dusting and Alf Ramsey Knew My Grandfather.

You will get a chance to ask Ed any questions you may have.

This event is open to retired members and their guests. The cost includes a two-course lunch with a glass of wine or soft drink, Tea or Coffee and VAT.
