Children North East exists because growing up can be hard. They create life-changing differences for babies, children and young people in their families, schools and communities.
They offer support at those times when a little help can make a big difference for a child and their future. They exist because if things go wrong during a child’s development, they are likely to have a far-reaching, detrimental impact.
This event is for current ACA members, students and other professionals across the industry.
Photographs will be used by the NCASS committee to share news about the event, and to publicise future events. Images may be used in press releases, social media including Facebook pages. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please contact Amy Napper ([email protected]).
Children North East are celebrating their 130th anniversary and have launched a film narrated by TV’s Tim Healy which explains more about this wonderful charity.

We offer support at those times when a little help can make a big difference for a child and its future. They are also the times when, if things go wrong, they are likely to have a far-reaching, detrimental effect on the child.
Ultimately, our mission is that all North East babies, children and young people grow up to be healthy and happy.
Whether it is in their family, at school or in their local community, we are here to support babies, children, young people and parents in the North East.

The training, delivered via video, will provide a condensed overview of the July 2019 Advance Information and hints & tips to prime you for the Case Study exam.
Following on from the success of similar events hosted in the last year, we have chosen to run a similar free event to support students in the region to give them the best chance of successfully passing their Case Study exam.

The video will be recorded by Martin Johnson, the Head of Case Study, who has successfully coached over 1,000 students through the exam (including an ICAEW global prize winner and ICAEW regional prize winner). Martin will take you through some of the key aspects of the July 2019 Advance Information, based on his experience of teaching Case and writing Case Mock exams over the last 14 exam sessions.
